Piedmont, from the Latin pedemontium, means "at the foot of the mountain." Sometimes life can feel like fighting an uphill battle without a clear way forward. Wherever you are on your journey, I would be honored to team up with you to help navigate the terrain and meet your goals for growth and change. As your guide, I bring a diverse clinical background with years of experience in inpatient, nonprofit, and private practice settings, alongside a professional foundation in teaching and coaching.
My Credentials & Training:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in South Carolina
• National Certified Counselor (NCC)
• M.A. in Christian Counseling (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary)
• M.A. in History (Joint program at the College of Charleston & The Citadel)
In my practice, I primarily partner with couples, adult men, and young adults. Together, we work to foster insight into difficult challenges, identify clear goals, and implement healthy, sustainable practices that facilitate lasting healing and forward movement.
I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for those seeking pre-marital or marriage counseling who want to incorporate this proven assessment tool in their journey to grow closer together. Outside of the office, I enjoy adventures with my wife and daughters, preparing hearty meals for friends, losing track of time in the woods or on the water, reading, Braves baseball, college football, and—most of all—helping others.
